Its specific focus is the cultures, histories and experiences of American Indians and Americans of African, Asian, and Mexican descent. Four programs currently constitute the Ethnic Studies Program:

Each program offers a minor. A general Ethnic Studies minor is also available.

Academic Advising for Ethnic Studies Minors

The coordinator of the programs also act as advisors to students interested in a minor in an Ethnic Studies area, and can help the student understand the specific academic requirements of the minor. Students should consult with the appropriate minor advisor to set up a program and to have the minor officially declared.
